Closing as fixed: PR #36716 ('fix: Use is_active for guest users') merged
2025-12-17, and master's superset/security/guest_token.py line 169 sets 'active
= is_active = True'. Commenters already pointed at the fix, and the reporter
confirmed his workaround predates it.
