Review Comment:
Non-finite floats are exported as an empty string here (and are already
turned into `None` in `_normalize_scalar`), so `inf` in a CSV/XLSX export is
indistinguishable from SQL NULL. `docs/admin_docs/configuration/mcp-server.mdx`
(Gauge section) says exports write `nan`/`inf`/`-inf` as text to keep them
distinct from blank NULL cells. A Gauge row with `score = inf` exports a blank
cell today. Is the blank intended, in which case the docs line should change,
or should the text form be preserved for exports?

Review Comment:
Passing only `time_grain` on a same-viz update now sets
`drop_existing_temporal`, so `_merge_preserved_adhoc_filters` removes every
saved `TEMPORAL_RANGE` adhoc filter, not just a stale generated binding. With a
saved XY chart that has an `ds TEMPORAL_RANGE "Last year"` filter, resending
the same x/y roles with `time_grain="P1M"` and no `filters` or `time_range`
replaces that filter with the mapper's neutral binding. The update succeeds but
the chart then queries all dates. Should the saved range be kept unless
`time_range` or `temporal_column` is also supplied?

Review Comment:
Compile validation reuses this pipeline with `compile_row_limit` of 2 for XY
charts, so rolling and forecast now run on a two-row sample. A saved line chart
with `rolling_type="mean"`, `rolling_periods=7`, `min_periods=7` and
`forecastEnabled` leaves no rows after the rolling step, and Prophet then
raises "Forecast requires at least 2 data points". An update to a chart that
renders fine in Explore gets rejected at compile. Should the compile sample
skip these analytics, or be sized to what they need?
