### Feature Summary Currently we have no way to gather the user's email address if an authentication service doesn't provide one. While this is fine for local login and google login since emails are guaranteed in both, guaranteed emails are generally the exception not the norm with login providers. We also must have an email for an account to work as features such as sharing do not work without a valid email address therefore adding services such as ORCID would lead to real regression in what the user can do.
