* Anything that uses the core engine components, work just fine and needed some
cosmetic changes.
The more substantial work:
* authors and whitespace needed a rewrite
* mvninstall needs to get run in the full build mode
* checkstyle needed some minor cleanup since it doesn't use quite a bit of the
core engine
* test4tests just exits if it is in full build mode
