Thanks Sean! Given the pile of patches I've got sitting on top of this one,
there will be plenty of time for fixing up my mistakes. :)
bq. as an aside, my personal preference is for git commands to generate source
artifacts rather than maven
I couldn't figure out how to make a source tarball from a source tarball using
git.
