Roman Shaposhnik commented on YETUS-992: ---------------------------------------- Hey [~aw] – just to be clear (and especially for others to have context) I assume that what you have in mind here is described in [https://docs.github.com/en/actions/creating-actions/publishing-actions-in-github-marketplace] So in effect, the problem statement is that we need to publish official PMC artifacts into a distribution channel maintained by a 3d party called GitHub Inc. In that sense it is no different from us publishing into Docker HUB. Now, since I'm new to GH Actions – I'd like to start by understanding whether there's a notion of organizations in that distribution channel and whether we should dovetail it with "apache" organization for repos. > Create and publish a github action > ---------------------------------- > > Key: YETUS-992 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/YETUS-992 > Project: Yetus > Issue Type: New Feature > Reporter: Allen Wittenauer > Assignee: Allen Wittenauer > Priority: Major > Attachments: GitHub_Marketplace_Developer_Agreement.txt > > > We should publish a github action for use by the GitHub community. Note that > in order to do this, we will need a completely separate git repository. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.4#803005)
