Resolution: Won't Fix
There are a lot factors to close this one as won't fix:
a) Jenkins isn't used nearly as much in the industry as it used to be.
b) Maintenance costs are way too high given the lack of project participation
from the community.
c) Java is slowly getting purged out of the source repo.
