Allen Wittenauer updated YETUS-1158:
------------------------------------
Description: One of the issues seen is that Apache Yetus purposefully
wrecks the existing checkout (unless --dirty-workspace is used of course). It
would be extremely useful if test-patch would utilize worktrees to temporarily
create areas to perform actions without trashing the existing checkout. (was:
When testing on CI systems that do a checkout at a particular
sha/branch/whatever, it would be better if the repo was returned back to the
original sha so that any further work could proceed with the correct sha. This
process should happen automatically, ideally, but worst case at least provide a
flag to do it.)
