Here's the svg image. It seems that the problem is with emacs calling inkscape. Inkscape then does something that causes emacs to crash. I don't know why emacs calls inkscape when I open the message with the svg file.
I can directly open the svg file in emacs and it's displayed correctly. Sebastian
