Personally I would like an already known format for these. For example git fetches them from different places, like mutt aliases list. And I wonder why this is not part of notmuch core. You could then tell notmuch to compose a message, and specify an alias instead of a full address. This can be used in many ways. But yeah, I'm eager to get something like this :) -- Felipe Contreras
