I managed to duplicate this problem on Debian testing by rebuilding Olly's packages (https://launchpad.net/~ojwb/+archive/xapian-1.3) for sid and running the following script in the ./test subdirectory ,---- | test_description='"notmuch new" segfault' | . test-lib.sh | | generate_message | gdb notmuch <<EOF | run new | bt full | EOF `---- The backtrace is attached. -------------- next part -------------- An embedded and charset-unspecified text was scrubbed...
