Currently, if the user *does* compile with emacs support, and installs it, we are hinting that "notmuch emacs-mua" *doesn't* exist. Given that "notmuch emacs-mua" does exist somewhere (even if it's not in the local installation), i prefer the error in the direction of inclusion.
