I want to use the pre-new hook to run a script which will call mbsync -a -V No matter what I try it is not working within notmuch in emacs. I created script, made it executable, put it in my PATH. The script is in ~/.notmuch/hooks and is called pre-new The hook/script works on the command line when I run notmuch new but in emacs it does not work
