Maybe a misunderstanding due to my type? I.e. "I think it's OK to always have the entries on keeping them beyond device unbind has to be behind a Kconfig option." vs. "I think it's OK to always have the entries, only keeping them beyond device unbind has to be behind a Kconfig option."
