I can change that LOL, Thanks for the link Michael. As some might know for the last 3 yrs State schools have been required to run Windows 2003 servers with AD as authentication and Win7/XP desktops. What does this mean for old Novell schools - the disappearance of all novell servers eg Netware 6 at that time. I have implemented ZCM 10/11 successfully on the new MOE structure (EQ`s Managed Operating Environment as above) and it works really well when novell dont mess up functionality with new SP releases. However I have been quite disappointed in MS Printing. Finally got around to installing SLES10SP4 with OES2SP3 on our old BM server to start investigating Printing which looks like iPrint is the way to go. I am not going to pretend to be proficient in any of these two products (this is the first time looking at these products after using Netware 6) and this week has been quite a learning curve with multiple novell online doc windows consistently open on the desktop ;) I am really after what is the best way to access the file system on the SLES box when there are no novell clients and AD is the authenticating source. I am realising I have made a mistake in using the default partition setup of SLES to assign all my space to Linux POSIX file system(Reiser) as I am left with no free space from what I see as necessary to create a NSS pool (sorry my SLES noobness is showing here should of realised this during install) Are there other schools in my network situation & if so how are you utilising the SLES box, or are you all using the novell client which really makes it all that much easier to access. Have looked at CIFS but requires NSS volumes (see partition issue above) & NCP on POSIX file systems but requires the novell client.......is there a way of resizing the linux partions safely? Might need to restart install again as its not production only test at the moment so not a real issue. Thanks in advance.
