Andry, The wireshark dissector is for OpenFlow v 1.0 which does not support MPLS. In the TE demo we changed the OpenFlow protocol, NOX and OVS to support MPLS -- this is mentioned under " Changes to the OpenFlow protocol" here http://www.openflow.org/wk/index.php/MPLS_with_OpenFlow/SDN
If you want to see the flow-table entries for MPLS, you can use the OVS utilities (ofctl or dpctl or something) - our changes to OVS supported this For stuff going to or coming from the controller, I'm sure you can print it there Wireshark is usually the last alternative Cheers Saurav On May 19, 2012, at 6:04 PM, Kyriakos Zarifis wrote: > Hi Andry, > > I am not aware of a wireshark dissector that decodes mpls tagged OF packets > (but then again I haven't tried the demo myself). > It might be worth asking the developers of the MPLS-TE demo to see what they > used for their debugging > > On Sat, May 19, 2012 at 5:24 PM, Andry Anthony <[email protected]> > wrote: > hi all , > > > i only see the LLDP packet with wireshark when i running the standford > openflow MPLS-TE demo , but i cannot see the MPLS-tagged packet . > im using wireshark with openflow dissector that already exist with mininet vm > in openflow tutorial. > has anyone know the wireshark plugin that can support to capture MPLS-tagged > packet in OpenFlow ? > thanks, > > > > Regards, > Andry > Saurav Das [email protected]
