Hi,

The controller in that toolkit is indeed based on NOX (classic), and it does
have support for OF 1.3, but it only provides the C++ bindings, not the Python
ones.

AFAIK, Pox does not have OF 1.3 support yet, however it does support many of
the Nicira extensions for OF 1.0. So given that you are interested in OVS, you
might be fine with OF 1.0 + those extensions.
If you really need OF 1.3, and are sure the required features are in OVS
already, your best bet is probably Ryu for now: http://osrg.github.io/ryu/.

Zoltan

There is a open source project hosted on Github maintained by CPqD, which has
recently released the OF1.3 toolkit and may be of your interest.

主 题:[nox-dev] Controller with Python Language

Dear All,
I'm Chanthan from Chulalongkorn University.
I would like to use the Python based OF controller to control OVS with OF
specification 1.3. What kind of controller should I use??
I have heard about POX, does it now support OF 1.3??
Thanks
Chanthan
