I just cloned linux 2-6 (from git.kernel.org) and compiled it (by
"make oldconfig" with linux2.6.qemu.config).
But, it crashes with the given hdd image.
I simply followed the step-by-step instruction on www.noxrepo.org
Here's the last log message:
VFS: Cannot open root device "hda1" or unknown-block(0,0)
Please append a correct "root=" boot option; here are the available
partitions:
Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-
block(0,0)
FYI, if I run the kernel.bin from noxrepo.org, it boots up perfectly.
