Hi, This is probably because --with-openflow is somewhat hard to maintain. We are doing away with it for further versions.
If you do not need any specific feature in 0x98, I would recommend going with 0x97 in * openflowswitch.org/openflow (release/0.8.9) * noxrepo.org/nox (do not use --with-openflow option in configure) If you need some particular feature beyond v0.8.9, let us know.
