I don't really suspect this is the problem, but are you pulling nox from the 
openflow-1.0 branch or from zaku (the latter being the preferred answer).

I've tested that code and it seems to work fine here.  I'm using zaku and Open 
vSwitch.  Obvious question: are you getting packets at all?
