Hi, all I did a wired-cum-wireless simulation experiment for one uplink flow and one downlink flow in saturation conditions. We can guess that If both AP (Access Point or Base Station: BS) and mobile node always have data frames in its buffer, the number of frames transmitted from AP will be exactly same to that of the mobile node. Because mobile node and AP get same chances to access to the medium. But, in my case AP had sent out more data frames rather than the mobile node. When I disable RTS/CTS (i.e. in Basic mode) AP and mobile node had sent out same number of frames. Is there any difference between AP and mobile node? Is something wrong with RTS/CTS mode?
