Hi, I am using ns-allinone-2.29 under cygwin, and I am having problems with nam. When I try to execute it it says:
no display name and no $DISPLAY environment variable to solve this I start the X server and set an environment variable like this: export DISPLAY=hostname:0.0 And then it works, but only from the X server. If I try nam from cygwin it says: nam: couldn't connect to display "MAV:0.0" (I also wrote "export DISPLAY=hostname:0.0" in my ./bashrc file ) My question is: Is there a way to use nam directly from Cygwin without starting the X server?
