I was trying to install ns-2.30 in linux ubuntu 6.06. But when I ran ./install, it showed the following error message and exited. make:*** No rule to make target 'VERSION'. neded by gen/version.c. Stop. NS make failed! See http://www.isi.edu/nsnam/ns/ns-problems.html for problems. This happened when I tried to reinstall ns-allinone2.30 in another directory after some problem occured in my first ns-allinone2.30. If any one has any advice or suggestion, please help me, it is urgent... Thanks, regards, Remya
