Hi all, I´m new at NS2 and just working trough the tutorial of Marc Greis. In Chapter IX first part he makes a wireless 2 node scene (simple-wireless.tcl) and connects a ftp agent to them. The output is written to a trace file (simple.tr). The programm runs without an error and there is a trace file - but xgraph wont read it, I only get errors like: "Error in file `simple.tr' at line 10799: Unknown line type " Lines in simple.tr look like: "s 0.029290548 _1_ RTR --- 0 message 32 [0 0 0 0] ------- [1:255 -1:255 32 0] s 1.119926192 _0_ RTR --- 1 message 32 [0 0 0 0] ------- [0:255 -1:255 32 0] M 10.00000 0 (5.00, 2.00, 0.00), (20.00, 18.00), 1.00 s 10.000000000 _0_ AGT --- 2 tcp 40 [0 0 0 0] ------- [0:0 1:0 32 0] [0 0] 0 0 r 10.000000000 _0_ RTR --- 2 tcp 40 [0 0 0 0] ------- [0:0 1:0 32 0] [0 0] 0 0 " Making a nam file was no problem - so I think it´s a problem in the file format (xgraph sample in chapter VIII did work properly)?!
I found some old posting with a similar problem - but none of the given advices did work. Can anyone give me a hint? thanks vikas
