Does anyone has a finding in what is an optimal value for Active Route Timeout (ART) for AODV protocol, especially for mobile node. The default value is 3, and in Charles E. perkin (Defining an optimal Active Route Timeout for AODV protocol..), semms that agree with this value (3 seconds), but from my simulation, it's 0-4 to 0-8 seconds. Appreciate if someone has done this type of simukation to obtain optimal value of mobile node.
