What is the most commonly used type of reed seat used in nsp,
cylindrical or tapered? The uilleann pipes I have made use a tapered
seat, and I would have thought that this gives fewer peturbations in
the bore, but that reed seems to need to go in a long way(13-14mm)
according to Colins book. Any info most appreciated.

   Cheers

   Bob
