Public bug reported: Binary package hint: sbackup
Simple Backup seems to have stopped working for me in Lucid. It worked in Ubuntu 9.10, and it was working earlier in Lucid. I added a new external hard drive, and was resetting the Simple Backup destination directory to point to a folder on the new drive. I selected "Backup Now", a process id was given, but the program did not start or complete the backup. There were no error messages and no crashes. I have double-checked my settings. I would expect at least an error message. 1. lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu lucid (development branch) Release: 10.04 2. apt-cache policy sbackup sbackup: Installed: 0.10.5ubuntu2 Candidate: 0.10.5ubuntu2 Version table: *** 0.10.5ubuntu2 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: sbackup 0.10.5ubuntu2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-21.32-generic 2.6.32.11+drm33.2 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-21-generic x86_64 Architecture: amd64 Date: Mon Apr 19 06:47:59 2010 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala" - Release amd64 (20091027) PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: sbackup ** Affects: sbackup (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug lucid -- Simple Backup does not backup in Lucid https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/566578 You received this bug notification because you are a member of NSsbackup team, which is subscribed to sbackup in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~nssbackup-team Post to : nssbackup-team@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~nssbackup-team More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
