You're correct in that the app did not create /root (i.e. it already
existed): sorry about the confusion. I included the /root directory by
selecting root from under Places after clicking Add Directory for
Include. Backup of /root was done. I expected backup of / to be done, as
per Simple Backup. Otherwise, how would I be able to backup / and all
its sub-directories?
