Afternoon everyone, Just a quick update on plans for the Perth trip (please pass it on to anyone else who is interested or not on the list) The majority of people so far seem to be planning, or have already booked, to travel over to Perth on Thursday 9th July and then return to the Eastern states on Sunday 12th July. I contacted the Wolves Travel Club earlier this week to ask whether they would consider allowing us to join their "Tour" thus enabling us to get access to match tickets, accommodation, activities etc. I received an email from them overnight saying that they are investigating another hotel option for us due to the number of NSWolves members who have expressed their intention to travel (20 at last count). At the same time I have been in regular contact with Perth Glory regarding match tickets for the Friday game to ensure that we can get a group booking together and also close to the other Wolves fans. When I spoke to them this morning they indicated that they hope to have ticket arrangements sorted by next week. I'll keep you posted. I am keen to find out if the Wolves Travel Club can get any special rates for us before making any decisions (hopefully tomorrow) otherwise I'll probably book in at the Novotel as it's central to everything and not bad value.
