1st May is good for me, what time do we meet?

You killed Archduke Franz Ferdinand. The closest we've got is Archbishop
Jeremy Tonks.

I think we settled on May 1 for the staying up do. Rog was meant to me
throwing house bricks through the windows of McDonald's but he'll come to
the pub afterwards.

Is May 1 good for everyone?

A Black Country Assassin! I like the sound of that! Not sure whom I'm
supposed to kill off though? Germans putting their towels on the sun

The list of realistic alternatives to MM is very short. We are stuck with
him for the time being, love him or loathe him!

I hope we can attract better Player's in the close season as the team spirit
shown through most of the season is admirable. Even MM's harshest critics
cannot deny we have fought like Tiger's, even like this Princip chap for a
noble cause for most of the season!

When is the "we're staying up do" going to be held?

Cheers

Paul.

In terms of the war Paul, if I'm England and Marcus is Germany then you are
Gavrilo Princip.

Martin O'Neill? You should add Mourinho and Fergusson to your shortlist.
Wimabigclub ay we?

Macus still hasn't answered on who should replace MM. He's trying to divert
attention away by taling about his German mother.

I always remember that "Top Tip" in Viz:

Pretend you are German when on holiday by being rude, pushing into queues
and eating too much".

Trying to stay out of this Millward vs Chantry war to be honest, glad I was
out all day at Bathurst and Kogarah.

If we are all discussing "IF'S" then I would try and poach Martin O'Neill
from the Villa if there is any truth to the rumours he might be leaving.
Failing that Steve makes a good point. Would you replace MM with Curbishley,
Coppell or another Manager currently out of a job?

3 - 1 this weekend and we can put all these if's, buts and maybe's to bed!!

UTW!!

everyone note this in their diaries for possible future reference:

11:04 am Monday 19th April, Jeremy made the statement "we have such an easy
run home...".

I hope you're not related to Murray Walker in any way Jeremy?

Big ifs indeed.

We have such an easy run home compared to the sides below us - just look at
the final Saturday match-ups for example.

(This inflammatory statement brought to you in honour of Paul Crowe!)

really makes it squeaky bum time for us though.

If West Ham win their game in hand, they will move above us on goal
difference and we will be sat in 17th position.

if Hull somehow manage to win their game in hand, they will move onto 31
points and be 3 points behind us with 3 games to go.

Both Bolton & Wigan are starting to pick up points when it matters so it's
going to be a scary run in I think. It's not looking like mid-table comfort
at the moment after the weekend's results.

As much as I hate seeing Wigan get 3 points, I certainly took great pleasure
in seeing the Arse crumble. Oh to hear Wenger's whingings after that.
