Villa were there for the taking today, nothing special at all.
We need better composure on the ball everywhere and some skill in the middle of the Park pronto. Not enough passing for me when we were on top second half, no quality final ball and guilty of trying to force the final pass too much. Edwards is a donkey and was shown up big time for his lack of skill. Doyle, Fletcher and Jarvis did not get enough quality ball. Bring back Milijas, at least he can pass. Sorry Steve, the BTMO lot have a point with too much long ball stuff. It is okay to Hoof it up now and again to mix it up but not most of the time. Have to win against Wigan next week, where are we watching the game? P.S. Yes, Ward was pants but how bad was Elokobi? He can't even make a 15 yard simple pass, dreadful!! Bring back Van Damme at left back and put Milijas in the middle of the Park with Jones. Henry can play on the right with Jarvis on the left. P.P.S. Same story as last season in my opinion, no left back and not enough skill in the centre of the Park. P.P.S. Haven't even got a good excuse to wake the wife up for some celebratory nooky, p****d off big time! It is one in which young men, in country sport, propel a huge ball not by throwing it into the air but by striking it and rolling it along the ground, and that not with their hands but with their feet, kicking in opposite directions." English manuscript, from between 1481 and 1500, so FIFA take note, it's been our game for over five hundred years so put the World Cup in England in the next ten years. Henry VIII had a pair of football boots in his great wardrobe, so we want our World Cup and we want it now.
