It will probably start out of position (wrong gate) then when the gate
opens it will immediately turn around and run the wrong way.  Once it's
worked out it should be going the other way it will run its little legs
off, putting in a good shift, but ultimately will come up valiantly
short, queuing much praise from the press about how it nearly made up
for its lack of quality with sheer grit and determination.
