December 13th 2010:
I never thought I'd see the day that Ward actually looked like someone who deserved to wear the Old Gold shirt. Ward, Hunt and Ebanks-Blake were all immense this morning. SEB ran his bug butt into the ground chasing everything. Ward showed some great attacking touches and demonstrated that he should never be allowed to play in defence again. Hunt had his best game so far for us. You constantly slate Jarvis but this is not balanced by constat positive comments about another player. Give us an example of the last time you said something clearly positive about a player On 25 March 2011 16:01, Marcus Chantry <marcus.chan...@macquarie.com> wrote: I am entirely confident that you could go back through all of my emails over the past few years and not only would they offer clear, concise, objective and rational discussions, but there would be an even split between positive & negative posts. I am not always negative, but I do have a tendency to get negative about certain players (Henry & Jarvis in particular) and also our Manager. If someone holds a permanently negative view of the club they claim to 'support', can they really call themselves a 'supporter'? Should you not just say that that is the club you associate yourself with, not to support, but to give you something to moan and be negative about. Its like people who say they hate the very sight of their husband/wife and yet stay with them year after year. If something gave me that much displeasure I'd find an alternative that gave me reason to be cheerful. Life's too short. ________________________________ From: nswolves@googlegroups.com [mailto:nswolves@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Steven Millward Sent: Friday, 25 March 2011 3:01 PM To: nswolves@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: [NSWolves] England matches live Have you got anything good to say about any aspect of Wolves management or players? As is Foley and Hunt And apparently so might by Stearman and O'Hara. Fletcher is scottish. Most of our team plays for a national side at some point. Henry will too one day.
