I have often wondered how my life would have changed if, on that fateful Wednesday night in 1966, my Dad had taken me to Old Trafford instead of Molineux. It's rather like dreaming of winning lotto: a few minutes of fantasy and then back to reality. Nevertheless, it was Molineux that night and I was immediately under the Wolves spell. I really don't know how anyone can stop supporting them. Remember those few minutes back in 80's when we almost went bust, and the Doog came through at the last minute to save us (albeit temporarily). I was on the 'phone to England where dad had the receiver against the radio with live coverage of events. The sheer joy of being saved. I still think of that moment when things look bleak. Prefer to support a Wolves side wherever they may be, and long as they are there. We will have our time in the sun again sometime.
