What about the IOC?
As bent as FIFA plus they covered up doping scandals so as not to tarnish
"The brand".

I understand Blatter had previously said that he's like to see the documents
released, but at the same time FIFA's lawyers were fighting their release

We know it's rotten after Russia and Qatar got the world cups. This is mere
detail of the mechanisms.

I can't see anything changing. Even if FIFA said "yes we take bribes and we
will continue to do so" what would change? They effectively sit outside of
the law and are answerable to nobody. Countries could try to set up a
breakway organisation but then FIFA would punish the FAs of those countries
and the clubs would lose out financially and stop it happening.

There's hasn't been such as well-organised, all-powerful,money-making
machine since organised religion was invented

Expecting the Vatican to issue a similar statement something soon.

Makes you want to puke. Take millions in bribes, if you get sprung, just pay
some of it back and all changes are dropped ! We should all be doing it. In
fact, lost of business execs do, just no-one is really interested in them.

You're right there Paul. Septic Bladder will have brought in a culture of
people lacking honesty and integrity, and will make sure his back is covered
by ensuring whoever replaces him will be just as dirty as he is and so have
to cover for him.

Only a fool would not think a certain Mr. Blatter has been up to the same
all these years. Especially as he was Havelange's right hand man for a long
time!!

Sorry Rog, can't make it now for the 5th August don't get back from a work
trip to the Philippines until the 6th. Hoping to be up in Coffs Harbour late
