I'm not familiar enough with the managers who ply their trade in League 1, 2 or even the conference divisions to suggest an alternative. That is the level of candidate that we are now working with. He's certainly not an up-and-coming manager who has caught the eye with developing talent and an exciting brand of football. Let's not forget that with about 20 minutes of the season remaining he was about to get Millwall relegated. By his own admission he left Millwall because he had taken them as far as he could go; that's hardly a ringing endorsement for someone we are hoping will get us back into the Premier League is it?
