Jim, I was one of Mick's biggest fans*. But I think his methods look old fashioned now. If he'd had all the money we'd still be playing 442 with a tall CF and a load of English players wearing shin pads in training and getting injured. Be a bit like villa probably.
He would be claiming, as Steve Bruce did, that it's no good getting foreigners in as they couldn't cope with rainy Tuesday night games in December.
