Please expand on your comment, not sure I understand what your talking
about?

Am I challenging you to something? Ummmm, no, but I was answering the
question of a fellow admin.

I use VNC on everything and have had no hack attempts or problems, yet
we are moving to TErminal Server for performance gains.

I have been cautioned by a couple of people not to use VNC on web
servers though. Have you guys used this on web servers? If so, have you
had any hacks through it?

Thanks,

Very well.. And best of all you proxy with it. Example. I want to
connect to 192.168.0.1 through 206.63.120.1. as long they both have it
installed.

www.famatech.com.

I kind of had a bad feeling this might be the only solution. I guess I
should probably install another remote desktop on there so I don't have
to drive to the colo facility to do this. I've used vnc and pcanywhere
before, but never on servers. Does anyone know of any security holes in
VNC?

Subject: Terminal Services Problem on Win2K Server

I am having a problem with TS on a Win2K server. It seems to be letting
me have one session per reboot. I login to the box using the TSC and
once I logout I can not reconnect until I reboot the box using remote
power switch. After a reboot everything works fine the first time I
access it the box but after that I can not reconnect again.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this?

Duane
