Open a command prompt and type "set."

I don't think username is an environment variable in 9x.

Hey all have just put users on a win2k Active directory box all is well
except when the logon script runs we get errors on the users mapping.
Users using Win98 or Win98SE get a error 67 the specified shared
directory
cannot be found. I am using a wild card for the user name, the logon
file
is set up like this net use I: \\thunder\apps net use P: \\Adams\Public
net use Q: \\Adams\%username%$ net use R: \\Adams\Engineering$ net use
S:
\\thunder\tempdata it maps all the drives ok but the user directory
which
is the Q:. I can however use a win2k pro box or XP and it runs the
mapping
just fine. Has anybody had this problem if so what is the fix. Thanks in
Advance
Ronk
