So are they peer-to-peer or running on a Novell Network?

Do you have the Microsoft Client installed or are you just 
running Novell's Client32?  I'm pretty sure you'll need the MS 
Client (not the MS Client for Netware) to use resources on 
another peer machine...

Exact same name and password as the user on the  Win98 workstation?

have a cure .... but maybe that's what this paragraph says you 
already tried.
