This ntfs-3g is VERY OLD. There was many important fixes and improvements
since then. Please upgrade to the latest stable release.

You also need to upgrade FUSE for maximum data reliability.

This is distribution specific but for a safe solution you must have at
least the latest ntfs-3g and fuse.
