Hi,
I downloaded the *tar.gz *and extracted to my /home directory
('/home/duane'). Then ran './configure' (as root, not sudo) but received
errors that I believe are related to *gcc* (or *ld* specifically) not
finding certain files. I'm attaching my config.log and can provide more
information if necessary. Right before I sent this I tried this as standard
user with expected results and as sudoer with results similar to root
experience. The attachment is the 'root' version. With no discernable
differences noted in the 'sudoers' config.log, I will send that only upon
