Is this my question too silly or too difficult to answer?
depends on your settings:
(1) either you should configure tex (in texmf.cnf) to generate the missing bitmaps, or
(2) if this is a well known size, make sure that it's mentioned in a map file for pdftex
also 1200*1036.8 is not 2074 so ...
