I tried your example and indeed there are no horizontal lines in the second tabulate. - I checked then may latest document, where I have such tabulations included. And indeed there are no horizontal lines too. The mentioned document was compiled on 19-09-2003 before the update to the latest beta version on 20-09-2003. - Unnoticed this problem was already present in the previous beta-version.
