Try \usetypescript [adobekb][ec] \usetypescript [postscript][ec] \setupbodyfont[pos,ss,12pt] \starttext foo \stoptext How old is your ConTeXt? What TeX system do you have? Make sure that ther is a line in your logfile like: fonts : [adobekb] [ec] [] If this does not appear, post your complete logfile.
