http://mail.rna.nl/~gerben/microtype.tiff contains an image of a margin of a piece of text I just have typeset with ConTeXt.

I was wondering about two things:

1. How does one set up the use of margi kerning in ConTeXt given that my ConTeXt (without me having selected it myself) uses Latin Modern?

I have tried adding

\usetypescript [serif,sans,mono] [hanging] [thanh]

to my environment file.

2. If you look at the image (link above) you see that there is no margin kerning there. Also I was wondering if margin kerning would make not only the . protrude but also the slanted f protrude negatively.
