Hello list,
I would like to typeset a book compiling each chapter in parallel, with the --parallel option.

For now, I did this:

- embedded all the book contents in a \startproduct ... \endproduct pair

- embedded every chapter contents in a \startcomponent[id] ... \stopcomponent pair

where "id" is an identifier for that chapter.

The source file is one big XML file (well, actually it's a JSON file that is translated into XML in memory).

What I don't understand is whether it is mandatory to organize the source files in one distinct file for each component, or if it is possible to just declare a component, and then ConTeXt creates a temp file for it (and also compiles it in a distinct thread).

Where can I find documentation about this?

Massi
