Hi,
TL;DR: Is there a way to automatically place a figure at the top of the
next page while allowing text below the figure?
Apologies if the answer is already in one of the manuals (I suspect it
probably is, but I was not able to find it). I'm trying to get figures to
appear on top of the page following the point where they appear in the .tex
without the figure taking the whole page.
Minimal (non-)working example:
%-------------------------------
\usemodule[ipsum]
\setupexternalfigures[location={local,default}]
\starttext
\ipsum
%% Problem: the figure appears on the current page (not the next one)
%\placefigure[top]{}{\externalfigure[cow]}
% Problem: the figure takes the whole page
\placefigure[page]{}{\externalfigure[cow]}
\dorecurse{4}{\ipsum}
\stoptext
%-------------------------------
What I would like to achieve: an output similar to
%-------------------------------
\usemodule[ipsum]
\setupexternalfigures[location={local,default}]
\starttext
\dorecurse{3}{\ipsum}
\placefigure[top]{}{\externalfigure[cow]}
\dorecurse{2}{\ipsum}
\stoptext
%-------------------------------
Is there a way to have figure placement something similar to `page` but
allowing text below (and on the same page as) the figure?
Cheers,
Florent
