Thanks a lot for this hint. I had conversion=mp before but it was lost somehow; my fault.

Now rgb raster images are printed in strange resolution as if pixelated to hyde something.

Or how did you get the “strange resolution”?

I’d generally suggest to leave CMYK conversion to the printshop and use PDF/X-4 with properly profiled images. But there are too many printshops that are >20 years behind in their workflow…
