Hi, Indeed it is best to unzip the pgf yip in a standalone folder. I installed the context related material in the folder ../tex/context/ third/pgf The rest went into ../tex/generic/pgf. Beyond this you need to fetch the xkeyval package and put it into .../ tex/latex/xkeyval or similar.
After updating the filedatabase it should work.
